Otto Hejnic Trio

The Otto Hejnic Trio belongs to the top of Czech-Slovak jazz. Since its inception in 2009, trio has released 4 highly acclaimed albums on the prestigious Hevhetia label. The trio has performed on many European stages, from Mexico to Asia.
The Slovak virtuoso Ondrej Krajňák plays the piano, recording a number of albums as a sideman. And his solo album Forevernest is highly acclaimed. Josef Fečo is one of the most respected bassists, he is a phenomenon of double bass and bass guitar. This is evidenced by the collaboration with Ben Golson and other names. Otto Hejnic, who is the leader of the trio and a fantastic bonding element, is also the author of the songs. At the age of 22, he received a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music. Despite not using it, he played and recorded his first jazz album "Live from New Orleans" in the USA. As a sideman he is on more than 40 albums.
